Once Samantha disappeared into the darkness, Cade went back to searching for herbs. But he couldn't concentrate. He also couldn't find his basket. He must have lost it when the poachers captured him. Well, he'd have to get a new one. He sighed and looked up at the moon. Well, it was getting kind of late...

Cade decided it was time to go back to his burrow. He hadn't gotten much accomplished on this night, and he was sure he would pay for it in the morning. But his meeting Samantha had changed things for him. Once he reached his burrow he went to bed to sleep the day away.
