  • Fenris Forest

In the north of Aeris lies a forest of fir trees. Almost permanently covered in snow and renown for being an exceptionally treacherous for even the most sure footed of jackalope. The forest is exceptionally large and it stretches for miles along the north of the country, many have gotten lost within it's frost covered trees...

  • The Village of Bjorn

On the outskirts of the vast Fenris forest lies a tiny village of snow covered burrows. The village of Bjorn is the most northernly village in the whole of Aeris! Infact, on clear nights you might just catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis, legend has it that the lights are the souls of the villagers ancestors.

  • Mount. Eira

Rocky slopes and harsh terrain, it's pretty difficult to survive here unless you're very adept at climbing and breathing at high altitudes. The mountain range leading up to Mount. Eira is both beautiful and dangerous, especially during winter.

  • Lake Valdis

At the foot of Mount. Eira stands a lake. While this part of the country boasts the highest peak it also boasts the largest lake. The lake itself is beautiful, it's tranquil waters empty of anything larger than a few fish, Lake Valdis is a respite from the harsh terrain of the mountains.

  • The Meadowland

While the meadowland did at one point in time have a name, it's been lost to time and most people simply call it the meadowland, or the meadows. During spring, summer and autumn the meadows buzz with life. Wild flowers, grasses insects and birds make the it a wonderful place to visit. In winter when the meadow grass has been cut, it takes on another life and an air of melancholy fills the place.

  • Logmarr Woods

A lush and vibrant forest that sits just outside of the meadowlands. While the forest does have it's dangers it's known for being particularly safe place for Jackalope to raise their young. Infact, in a clearing somewhere in the forest is where the breeding setts lie.

  • Brandr

One might call this collection of burrows the main town in which the jackalope inhabit, and it's quite true. It's rare to find a single human being in Brandr, it's rarer still to find a human that wants to be there. Towns built by jackalope tend to be small in general, and this is no exception. Little grass burrows sit in the shadow caused by Logmarr woods, while young jackalope play around the trees. All in all it's a rather cheery place where humans rarely tread.

  • Svanhildr

If you head towards the west of Aeris the meadows fade out and the sea comes into view. This is where you'll find the tiny seaside town of Svanhildr, while jackalope aren't portrayed often thought of as water loving creatures many of them are agile swimmers. The town is quaint and it's existence relies on the fish that swim within the Gunnarr ocean.

  • The Town of Greystone

The only town in Aeris that was built by humans, many creatures find the place slightly bewildering and do their best to stay away from it. The town is a bustling hub, much too small for all of the people that live there. Most of the buildings are made from the same kind of sandstone, it's greyish-hue giving the town it's name. It's also the most southern towns, and it's summers are known for being particularly warm.

  • Oddin's Peak

Sat on the edge of a cliff face, lies a temple carves out of white marble. It is simply known as Oddin's Peak. It is considered something of a mystery as to why it was there in the first place. One thing's for sure, it wasn't paws that carved those columns. It's a very tranquil place and while no one inhabits it all year round, many jackalope visit the place when in need.

  • The Ochre Plains

Stretching for miles in every direction the ochre plains are named due to the curious colour of the soil here. During the winter months when some rain falls flowers and plants grow here, but they're gone by late spring only leaving their seeds.
